About

Me

I am currently an Automation Engineer and partner at Lumis Automation in Orange, California. My unique combination of programming, mechanical, and electrical engineering abilities is what makes me stand out from the crowd.

I started my journey into engineering by attending Chico State where I achieved a degree in Mechatronic Engineering. While at Chico State I was a member of the American Institute of Mechatronic Engineers where I worked on a museum exhibit that was displayed in the Valene L. Smith Museum of Anthropology. For my senior project I worked on developing a new rock climbing auto-belay system for Extreme Engineering.

After college I worked at Kaman Automation in Anaheim, California as an Applications Engineer. In this role I was exposed to a wide breadth of industrial automation products and made connections while assisting customers with integrating these products into their systems.

For my next venture I joined Lumis Automation as a Partner and Automation Engineer. In this role I have accumulated a large amount of knowledge very quickly as I have worn many hats. Some of the more interesting projects I have worked on are writing software for an azimuth, elevation, and auto-leveling application and designing a custom filling and capping machine from scratch. My innovations on this custom machine are currently patent pending (US 63/345,123).

I am passionate about problem solving and enjoy using creativity and collaboration during the engineering process.
